Recap of 2023 and 2024 so far

Hello everyone.  We from the band are so thankful for everyone's support and following us.

In August of 2023, Greybeard took a job overseas to support NATO allies training.  This is a very noble cause considering his background and the current state of wars around the globe.  This did not stop him from writing and performing small shows around the small and beautiful city of Brașov, Romania.  As happenstance would be, he developed a small following of very nice and wonderful people in Brașov and surrounding areas due to these incredible fans, friends of Greybeard's wife, and a great craft brewery in center-city Brașov, Mustata Brewery.

In late October 2023, After Greybeard got settled, there were still two shows back in Texas that he wasn't going to miss.  The first one was “Blowout's campground and rally” in Galveston, Texas for the Lonestar Motorcycle rally.  The crowd and people were incredible, and was one of the few concerts that Greybeard and Lady Rhonda could attend on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle; thanks in huge part of our incredible drummer, El Jefe.  We opened up for the arguably biggest Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band in the USA, Lone Star Skynyrd.

The concerts weren't over yet because, two weeks before Greybeard took the job overseas, we won a Battle of the Bands to open up for the incredible band, “Spread Eagle.”  We got there early and met the band.  They were just like us.  Humble, professional, kind, and when they took the stage, they put on a masterclass of how to perform for a crowd.  Flawless playing, incredible crowd interaction and the kind of concert that should only be reserved for huge arenas.  Needless to say, it was an incredible experience for us and our two EXPATS flew back to Romania the following day.

That brings us to 2024.  Tony Skipworth teamed up with an incredible violinist, singer, piano player and continues to play out around the San Antonio area.  El Jefe sits in with his friend's band Elecktra Blue and they play incredible shows.  El Rey de Bajo continues to play around but would be called back to the stage for one last huge show; the Groundzero Musicfest in Bandera, Texas.

In late 2023, Without Image was asked by Biker Rallies of Texas to open up the Musicfest in April 2024.  We couldn't say no to such an event.  Talk about an opportunity to play for our people again.  We prepared our short one hour set from around the world and of course stayed in contact with each other, because Without Image is a family.  We arrived in Bandera, Texas to VIP conditions; green room, special parking and all.  Unfortunately, the sound team ran into an issue that was unforeseen and it cut our set down to 30 minutes.  What did we do?  What we always do.  Slammed as much awesome music, sweat, swagger, fun and great original music into 30 minutes that we could.  Those in the crowd loved what they saw and when we went back the next night to watch great artists like Dallas Moore, Whiskey D, and Lita Ford, the crowd were still talking about us; giving us praises i.e., “y'all should headline these events,” or “we wish we could've seen you longer,” or “your original music is incredible.  I really resonated with our souls,” which is the greatest compliment a band can receive.

So thank you for sticking by us and being our fans.  It means the world to us.  We play music that we hope others like, and y'all never disappoint with your feedback and words of affirmation.

We love you all and hope you continue to see us play on this journey.
