The Story of Without Image

From Hell to Center Stage

Without Image is the brain child of Singer and Guitarist David "Greybeard" Marshall while serving as a Green Beret during the Global War on Terrorism.  Without Image means that the band is not locked into only one genre of music and usually combines multiple genres into their original songs: Country with Rock, Soul with Blues, Singer/Songwriter with Metal. Without Image creates high energy performances with musical professionalism.  Without Image does not "gig," they perform CONCERTS, no matter how small or large the venue.  Fans deserve quality performances without the huge venue prices often seen by those bands that become unreachable to their fans.

Without Image consists of professional musicians.

David "Greybeard" Marshall is a vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter.  He has been writing and performing for over 30 years.  He placed his dream of being a touring rockstar on hold because of his commitment to the United States of America and its safety and security.  He served as a US Army Special Forces "Green Beret" Weapons and Operations Sergeant. His experiences while deployed allowed for the creation of special music that is relatable to all, though it allows for veteran's stories to be told.  Greybeard believes that music is universal and storytelling allows legacies to be remembered.

Gil "El Hefe" Escobedo is the son of famed Tejano musician Gilbert Escobedo, but has established himself as a tour de force on drums and vocals and is an incredibly diverse drummer who brings Tejano beats to hard rock, hard rock beats to country and country beats to metal.  He has over 30 years of drumming experience.  His influences are varied and wide spread, that include Godsmack, Led Zeppelin, Danny Carey and many others.

All in All, Without Image brings a collective 50+ years of performing experience to the stage.
